Meet the Speakers

This year we’re doing something a little different! Instead of having one set of leaders, we are bringing in leaders within the homesteading community and church that you may already know, or that you can connect with on a homesteading level. 
The Lord has placed on our heart to have a time of testimony, fellowship, hope, encouragement, and exhortation! Come for a very laid back time of (acoustic) worship, a word, some testimonies, some stories of why we do what we do and the miracles that have followed us.

Amy K. Fewell | Founder, Homesteaders of America & Homestead Revival
Amy K. Fewell is a homesteader, author, and founder of Homesteaders of America, a leading community dedicated to equipping individuals and families with practical skills for self-sufficient living. Through her work at The Fewell Homestead and The Church Storehouse, Amy teaches food security, sustainable agriculture, and faith-centered preparedness. She is passionate about helping others return to the land, steward their resources well, and build resilient, Christ-centered homes and communities.

Saviour & Sherrill Kaonga | Overland Missions
Saviour and Sherrill Kaonga serve with Overland Missions, a ministry focused on reaching remote and unreached communities with the Gospel. Together they work in the Zambia and Democratic Republic of Congo with their three boys, where they are actively involved in missions work throughout the region. Through their ministry in Congo and Zambia, Saviour and Sherrill help teach local communities practical skills such as caring for the land and growing their own food. This agricultural training supports families in becoming more self-sufficient while also creating meaningful opportunities to share the message of the Gospel. Their work reflects the broader mission of Overland Missions—bringing both practical help and spiritual encouragement to some of the most remote places in the world.

With years of experience leading the body of Christ into worship, Dustin & Stephanie Dawson, located in Virginia, are bring us an acoustic worship set on Friday evening. We hope that it encourages you to just sit in the presence of God, seek His face, and enjoy fellowship with one another after a long day.
